SKA Malta in Belgium, JULY 2017

SKA Black Belts with Sensei Ogura Yasunori, 7th Dan JKA HQ Instructor, BELGIUM July 2017

Over the past weeks, SKA Black Belts Luke Rocco and Graziella Rocco, travelled to Belgium to participate in the ‘24th International JKA Stage Sensei Miyazaki‘ and for training at local Belgian Shotokan Karate Dojos.

The International JKA Stage was held over 3 days, with outstanding participation of Karatekas from all over Europe, all eager to train with highly esteemed Japanese Instructors from the reknowned JKA Headquarters in Tokyo.

Instruction was led by Sensei Ogura Yasunori, 7th Dan JKA HQ Instructor and several times JKA All Japan Kumite Champion and Sensei Kurihara Kazuaki, 5th Dan JKA HQ Instructor and several times JKA All Japan Champion in Kata.

Also amidst familiar faces were Ms Veronique Eeninckx, 2nd Dan and Mr Maurice Leveque, 2nd Dan, with whom our members had made good acquaintance with during the JKA Gasshuku in Portugal with Sensei Naka earlier this year.
